Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the teenager age. She was a kickboxer, boxer and wrestling prior to making her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to beat three times within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents were finished within the first few minutes. After that, she returned to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen in the fight, beating her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's amateur records were affected. Ladd rebounded from her loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record to 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to make her debut as a pro. The InvictaFC11 fight was her first professional bout. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Her next bout was a win against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen used the superior abilities she acquired in wrestling to take on McGill. She won the fight with a an KO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen defeated Hoy and finished her off in the second round by KO. Invicta FC21 was her last bout with the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round later in the 2nd. She continued her dominance and racked up an impressive victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd took the win in the first round and was awarded the Performance of the Night Prize. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks in her debut fight. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous decision and her Fight of the Night award was awarded to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds of the fight, breaking her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's third round, was defeated by Randamie. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. The fight ended in a unanimous verdict.
