Anne Celeste Heche was an American actress who was known for her performances in various types of film, television and the theater. Her awards include an Daytime Emmy Award, a National Board of Review Award as well as many other awards. Anne Celeste Heche was an American actor. Her death occurred on the 11th of August 2022. Anne Lockhart, born Anne Kathleen Maloney in September 1953 was an American actress. Joan played the role in the show for the final time. It is a popular belief that Anne rejected the role as Laurie Strode for John Carpenter's 1978 film, Halloween. Jaime Lee Curtis was cast in its place. Carpenter tells us that she was in his thoughts to play the character however she decided to decline the role. Anne is unable to recall John Carpenter having contacted her and offering the position. It's possible that one of her agents declined it because of her, but she didn't tell her. Glen Larson chose her initially and gave her a preliminary written script. She was to appear on the show Battlestar Galactica, which aired from 1978. The actress initially refused the part due to the fact that her character wasn't robust. Glen invented a new character to play for her using Sheba being a more formidable role model. The Living Legend was accepted following her reading of the original 25 page script. It lasted for just one season. She appeared in Joyride the 1977 film with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine (son Desi Arnaz Jr. Lucille and Lucille) and together with Robert Carradine. In 1987 she appeared in a co-production with Michael Moriarty and The Dark Tower.
