Shannon Spake

Shannon Spake, born July 23, 1976 is an NASCAR reporter, as well as college basketball and football reporter for Fox Sports. Prior to that, she was employed by ESPN and contributed to SportsCenter for pre- and post-game updates. She she also served as an official sideline reporter for SEC for ESPN basketball games along with college football matches. Spake has also been a journalist for the newly created SEC Network, which is controlled by ESPN. Spake was previously employed by Speed Channel. She hosted NASCAR Nation's 2nd edition (June-November 2005) in addition to having reported for the initial edition (February until June 2005). Back Seat Drivers was also hosted by Spake as well as Marty Smith. Previous jobs on air included WCCB (Charlotte, North Carolina) as well as Carolina Sports and Entertainment Television.
